Raffle Terms
The MUS Foundation Carnival Raffle is conducted by the Montecito Union School Foundation ("MUSF") in support of its charitable purposes.
Tickets & Entry
Raffle tickets are $10 each. Participants may be of any age. Tickets are not considered entered into the drawing until payment and the completed ticket stub have been received by MUSF. Lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible or unpaid tickets may be deemed invalid.
Raffle tickets are sold in person only and cannot be purchased online.
Drawing
Winners will be selected by random drawing at approximately 6:45 PM on October 9, 2026, at the MUS Carnival. Winners do not need to be present to win. Winners will be contacted using the information provided on their raffle ticket.
Grand Prize — 2027 Bintelli Beyond 6L Golf Cart
The Grand Prize is a 2027 Bintelli Beyond 6L Golf Cart — Six-Seater, Lifted. The Grand Prize Package is valued at approximately $17,000, including applicable taxes, title and initial registration and licensing fees. Insurance is not included. Actual specifications, color and accessories are subject to the vehicle provided.
Minor Winners
Children are eligible to participate and win. If the Grand Prize winner is under 18 years of age, the vehicle will be transferred and titled/registered directly to the winner's parent or legal guardian, or another eligible adult designated by the parent or legal guardian, in accordance with applicable California law. This transfer will be considered delivery of the Grand Prize to the minor winner and will not constitute a cash redemption or prize substitution. The minor winner will not be required to first take legal ownership and subsequently transfer the vehicle.
Vehicle Ownership & Operation
Winning the Grand Prize does not confer any right to operate the vehicle. The person to whom the vehicle is titled and/or registered is responsible for satisfying all applicable legal requirements relating to ownership and operation. Operation of the vehicle is subject to all applicable age, driver's license, insurance, equipment, roadway and local requirements. MUSF makes no representation or guarantee that the vehicle may legally be driven by the winner or on any particular public street, roadway or location.
Delivery
Complimentary delivery of the Grand Prize is included within 30 miles of Santa Barbara, California. Any transportation, shipping or delivery outside this area is the sole responsibility and expense of the winner.
Taxes, Title, Registration & Insurance
The Grand Prize Package includes applicable taxes, title, initial registration and licensing fees required for the initial transfer and registration of the vehicle to the winner, as arranged by the Montecito Union School Foundation. Insurance is not included. The winner, or in the case of a minor winner the adult accepting legal ownership on their behalf, is responsible for obtaining any required insurance before operating the vehicle. Following the initial transfer and registration, the winner is responsible for all ongoing costs associated with ownership and operation of the vehicle, including insurance, registration renewals, maintenance, repairs and any other future costs or fees.
No Cash Alternative
Prizes cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash. The Grand Prize may not be substituted or exchanged by the winner. The transfer of the Grand Prize to an eligible adult on behalf of a minor winner, as described above, is permitted. MUSF reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond MUSF's reasonable control.
Other Prizes
Additional raffle prizes may include staycations, sporting equipment, gift certificates and other donated prizes. Individual prizes may be subject to additional restrictions, expiration dates, blackout dates, availability requirements or other terms and conditions imposed by the donor or provider.
Claiming a Prize
Winners must respond to MUSF and make arrangements to claim their prize within 14 days of notification. If a winner cannot be contacted, is determined to be ineligible to receive a particular prize, declines the prize or fails to claim the prize within the required period, MUSF reserves the right to select an alternate winner. For a minor winner, MUSF may communicate with and require documentation from the winner's parent or legal guardian before releasing the prize.
Prize Condition
All prizes are awarded "as is" without warranties by MUSF, either express or implied. Any applicable manufacturer, dealer, hotel, merchant or other third-party warranty or guarantee remains subject to that provider's own terms and conditions.
General Conditions
By participating in the raffle, participants agree to these Official Terms & Conditions. MUSF reserves the right to disqualify entries that are incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, altered, unpaid or otherwise do not comply with these terms. All decisions by MUSF concerning eligibility, administration of the raffle, interpretation of these terms, the drawing and awarding of prizes are final. The raffle is subject to applicable California laws and regulations governing charitable raffles.
Release and Hold Harmless
To the fullest extent permitted by law, each participant releases and agrees to hold harmless MUSF and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to participation in the raffle, acceptance or use of any prize, or the administration of the raffle.
